Middleberg Public School is undergoing a significant transformation with a full campus overhaul designed by
Principle Design, a leader in
architecture. This 2022 Bond project features a 10,500 SF addition, which serves as the central hub of the new campus master plan.
Key features of the project include:
- Classrooms: Essential new learning spaces
- ICC-500 Compliant Storm Shelter: Accommodates 220 people
- Central Administration Area: Improved organizational efficiency
- Security Upgrades: Enhanced campus safety
Additional improvements include:
- Drop-off Lane and Extra Parking: Located on the East, reducing student traffic crossings
- Widened Bus Loop: Separates buses from cars for smooth pick-up and drop-off
- Relocated Playground: Moved away from the highway to reinforce campus safety and expand recreation space
- Connected Buildings: Keeps students and staff sheltered from the weather
- Covered Drop-off Area: Protects students outside
- Secure Entry and Impact-Resistant Windows: Ensures safety inside
This master plan, approved by the community, not only meets current needs but also supports future campus growth. The project is currently under construction and is scheduled to be completed by Fall 2023.
